We've broken 1,360 weather records this week
November 19th, 2014, 06:28 AM
It's record breakingly, miserably cold in the United States right now. In fact, yesterday marked the coldest November morning since 1976.

226 million Americans experienced below freezing temperatures outside their doors while the average temperature overnight was just over 19 degrees.

If you're looking for a break in the weather, particularly in the northern half of the country, you'll have to wait 5 or 6 days to get there.

Here in America we're all about breaking records. This week alone we've broken over a thousand weather records thanks to freezing temperatures and arctic air that's made its way across the lower 48 states.

1,360 cities across the countries set record low temperatures after yesterday's frigid blast.
